End of season

At the end of cropping, an assessment must be made of the plants regarding potential carry-over of pests and diseases.

While the crop is still in position, ensure it is treated with suitable plant protection products that will minimise any potential overwintering issues described in pests, diseases, virus and viroids sections. Once the crop has been suitably treated, it will need to be re-monitored to ensure threats have been eradicated.
