Understanding energy influences for UK soft fruit production
Soft fruit growers are relatively new to glasshouse production and technology compared to other protected edible and ornamental plant producers. An AHDB funded project investigated areas where energy and water use efficiency might be improved by glasshouse soft fruit growers and this report highlights these alongside knowledge gaps which soft fruit growers could be helped with, including:
- Humidity control
- Sources of carbon dioxide
- Best control of carbon dioxide
