Development of temperature degree-based models to predict pest development on strawberry for optimisation of control strategies

This project will produce a system (computer software) to predict the development of several key strawberry pests based on simple temperature-based models. Growers will be able to operate the system to generate real-time pest forecasts which may be used to assist in timing spray applications and in interpreting pest monitoring catches.
