Inducing compact growth and improved shelf life in herbs by mimicking drought signals

The aim of this project is to explore the potential for mimicking the natural drought signals, which move from root to shoot, to give more-compact growth and improved shelf life in a range of herb species without the detrimental effects of water stress.
