Evaluation of plant growth regulators on bedding plants

The trials at The Bedding and Pot Plant Centre have evaluated the timings and rates of application of a range of plant growth regulators on different bedding plant species. 

With increasing restrictions on the use of key actives for growth control, the trials should provide growers with the information they need to consider integrating new approaches into their current programmes. 

The Bedding and Pot Plant Centre is part of AHDB Farm Excellence, helping the industry to learn, share and create new ideas to drive innovation and increase productivity. Peer-to-peer learning is at the heart of AHDB’s knowledge exchange work, with nearly 60 farms across the country fully engaged in AHDB Farm Excellence activities.
